- Many children are or could be emancipated at age 16, so I am not concerned about what the person does of their own free will as long as it does not break laws. I do object to rescuing people, at government expense, when they elect to do something that has unusually high risk.

- Oh I can think of many things worse. Your ideals are admirable, but you should not expect every person in the world to accept the "Olympic spirit" as you define it. If you had grown up in another culture, your views would most certainly be different.

- Humility is not a revered trait in Russia. The development of humility would have prevented him from being successful in his home country. He would never have been given the opportunity or the training if he was not egoistic and arrogant. Sad but true.
